Everything you need to choose, own and use your .rh name.
Robinhood Name Service gives your wallet a readable name, such as alice.rh. You own that name as an NFT and choose which wallet address and profile it points to.
Minting and trading are not open yet
You can explore names and save a cart now. A saved name is not reserved, and you cannot complete a purchase until launch.
A .rh name works in apps that support Robinhood Name Service. It does not automatically work as a website address or in every wallet. Check that an app supports .rh names before using one to send funds.
Robinhood Name Service is an independent project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Robinhood.
A name can contain 1–63 symbols before .rh: English letters, numbers, supported emoji and hyphens between other symbols.
- Each complete emoji counts as one symbol, including flags, skin tones and joined families. 🔥.rh has one symbol; moon🔥.rh has five.
- Capital letters become lowercase. Supported alternate spellings of the same emoji, such as ❤ and ❤️, become the same name.
- Names cannot contain spaces, start or end with a hyphen, or use subnames such as shop.alice.rh. Other writing systems and incomplete emoji are not supported.
Understand a name’s status

There are no premium registration categories. Every available name of the same length has the same registration price.
When minting opens, you can register one name or buy up to 20 names in one checkout. Buying together reduces repeated transaction costs. Very large carts may need to be split.
- Find your names.
Search from the home page and add available names to your cart.
- Connect and review.
Open the cart, connect your wallet, choose ETH, PONS or RNS when available, and start checkout to see the current payment amount.
- Confirm the first transaction.
This protects the names you intend to buy from someone simply copying your purchase. You pay a network fee for this step; the registration payment comes later.
- Prepare your name cards.
After the first confirmation, your artwork is uploaded and checked. A five-second minimum wait also applies. Larger carts or slow uploads can take longer; your progress is saved.
- Confirm your purchase.
When your artwork is ready, complete registration within the 30-second price lock. If it expired during preparation, refresh it first. PONS or RNS may require a token approval before the first transaction. Your names appear in My names after confirmation.
What the first step protects
It helps prevent a copied purchase from taking your chosen name. It is not a guaranteed reservation or a guarantee against bots. Another valid buyer may still register first.
Complete the purchase within 24 hours of the first transaction, or start that step again. Changing the names in the checkout also requires a new first step.
A batch purchase completes together. If a name becomes unavailable or the payment fails, none of the names in that purchase are registered and its registration payment is not kept. Network fees may still be charged.
Registration prices depend only on the number of symbols before .rh. Prices are shown in USD and paid in ETH or PONS, or in RNS for 30% off when token payments are available.

For example, 🔥.rh costs $1,999 before the RNS discount; moon🔥.rh costs $19; and crypto.rh costs $9 because it has six symbols.
Your name does not need renewal. Network fees are extra and paid in ETH with every payment method. Future registration prices may change, so always review the final amount before confirming. Owners set their own marketplace resale prices.
Pay in ETH or PONS
Pay the full registration price converted into your chosen currency. Your ETH or PONS registration payment goes to the project and is not burned by Robinhood Name Service.
Pay in RNS · after activation
Pay 30% less than the USD registration price. The entire RNS payment is burned when the purchase succeeds. You still need ETH for network fees.
What burning means
The RNS tokens used for the purchase are permanently removed from circulation, reducing the token’s total supply. The project does not keep a share of that token payment. The discount and burn apply to new registrations paid in RNS, not marketplace purchases.
Why the token amount can change
ETH, PONS and RNS prices can move. Checkout converts the USD price into your selected currency when you start or resume a purchase. The first transaction locks the amount for 30 seconds. After the five-second wait, confirm your purchase before the lock expires. An expired lock requires another transaction to refresh the price; your existing commitment remains valid for 24 hours.
Browsing names or editing your cart does not lock an exchange rate. If a reliable price is unavailable, the affected payment option cannot be used until pricing is available again.
If a purchase fails
A failed registration does not keep your registration payment or burn the RNS tokens for that purchase. Network fees can still apply. Check the transaction status before retrying to avoid submitting a second payment while the first is still pending.
Connect the wallet that owns the name and open My names. Choose a name to update its details. Saved changes require a wallet confirmation and network fee.
- Wallet address: choose the address your name points to. It can differ from the wallet that owns the name.
- Public profile: add a bio, website and social links. These details are public.
- Primary name: choose the name you want supported apps to display for your wallet. You must own it and have it point to that same wallet.
Transfers and sales
You can transfer the name to another wallet or sell it through the marketplace. When a different wallet becomes the owner, the previous address, profile and primary-name association are cleared. The new owner sets their own details.
Ownership follows the wallet holding the name. Losing access to that wallet can mean losing control of the name. Transfers and completed sales cannot be undone from the website.
Your name card
Each registered name comes with the card shown in its preview. The image and its details are stored on IPFS, and their permanent link is attached when you mint. Transferring your name or editing your profile does not change its original card.
If you choose to burn your name NFT, you give up ownership and the name becomes available to register again. Its original card stays the same. Burning is permanent and does not refund your purchase.
Automatic traits
Every name receives traits based on its characters: letters, numbers, emoji, length and patterns such as palindromes or repeated digits. Each complete emoji counts as one symbol. Leading zeros count too: 007 is a Triple Digit Number. Current names are Base names, such as rose.rh; subdomains are not available.
ABAB means two different symbols alternating: 2121.rh and f4f4.rh. AABB means two matching pairs: 2211.rh and ff44.rh. These patterns work with letters, numbers, emoji and combinations of them.
Words are matched against an English dictionary, and first names against an international list in Latin letters. Matches use the whole name before .rh. A Premium Word is a dictionary match of up to five letters. These tags can overlap: rose.rh is a First Name, Dictionary Word and Premium Word. The tags do not change the length-based registration price.
Traits are saved with the original name card when minted. They stay the same after a transfer, sale or re-registration. Supported marketplaces can use them as collection filters after indexing the NFT. A missing word tag means no match in the collection’s word lists; those lists do not include every word or first name.
Word lists: SCOWL / ESDB (license) and Faker (license).
The marketplace supports fixed-price listings and funded offers on registered names. It uses ETH. The RNS registration discount and token burn do not apply to resale trades.
There is no additional marketplace fee. For a 1 ETH sale, the seller receives 0.95 ETH and the creator royalty is 0.05 ETH. Proceeds become available to withdraw from the marketplace. Network fees are separate.
Browse listings
Use the Category, Words & first names, Character type, Length, Number range and Patterns dropdowns. Names are grouped automatically: you can find short names, numbers, emoji, palindromes, repeated symbols and more.
Choose several patterns to match any or all of them. Other filters work together. Selected filters appear as removable tags. For a name such as 007, choose Triple Digit Number under Category or Leading zeros under Patterns.
Search within listings and sort by newest, price, alphabet or length. Filters apply to the listings already loaded; use Load more to include older ones. You can also look up a specific name even if it is not listed.
Sell a name
Choose an ETH price and confirm the listing. The first listing may need a separate approval for that name. Your NFT stays in your wallet until it sells. You can cancel or change the price while it remains unsold.
Buy a listed name
Open the name, review the current price and confirm the purchase. The payment and ownership transfer complete together. A seller’s price change or transfer can make an earlier listing unavailable.
Make an offer
- Find a name someone owns.
Select Make an offer and enter an ETH amount. It does not have to be listed for sale. You cannot offer on your own name or a name that has not been registered.
- Fund the offer.
The full ETH amount is paid and locked for that offer. It is an actual deposit, not an unpaid promise. You need a separate deposit for each offer.
- Wait for acceptance or cancel.
The owner can accept before expiry. Track bids in Offers made; owners see incoming bids in Offers received.
Offers expire after 30 days
After expiry, the owner can no longer accept. Your full deposit can be reclaimed, but returning it to your wallet requires a transaction. The timer does not automatically send ETH back.
Cancel, reclaim or withdraw
- Cancel & refund: cancel your offer before it is accepted and return the deposit.
- Reclaim ETH: recover an expired offer’s deposit.
- Withdraw: collect sale proceeds, royalties or refunds already available in your marketplace balance.
Network fees are not refunded. If an acceptance and cancellation compete, whichever valid transaction completes first decides the result.
If the name moves to another owner, that new owner cannot accept your old offer. You can reclaim the deposit. Pausing new trades does not prevent cancellations, refunds or withdrawals.
Royalties elsewhere
The 5% royalty is collected on sales through this marketplace. Other marketplaces decide whether to honor it. An ordinary transfer between wallets does not automatically charge a royalty.
Use Connect wallet to choose your wallet. Purchases and changes use Robinhood Chain mainnet. Your wallet must support that network, and you need ETH on that network for fees, even when paying in PONS or RNS.
Connecting a wallet shares your public address; it does not authorize a purchase or token approval. Those actions require separate confirmations. Never share your seed phrase or private key.
When a transaction is pending
Follow its transaction link and use the site’s resume or recovery controls. The site saves submitted transaction details in your browser so it can check an existing purchase instead of asking you to pay again.
Use the same browser and wallet to finish registration. Clearing site data can remove the information needed to resume it and require a new first step. If recovery is unavailable, check your wallet history before starting another purchase.
What can the project change?
The project can update prices for future registrations, reserve or release unregistered names, and pause new registrations, RNS payments or trading. These controls do not allow it to take back your registered name or take your funded-offer deposit.
These services are still preparing for launch. The preview does not accept purchases or funded offers.
Assistant access is planned for checking names, finding their linked wallet addresses and requesting prices. An assistant’s result does not reserve a name or guarantee a price.
Assistants cannot buy names, approve tokens, place bids or move your funds through this access. Purchases still require your wallet confirmation. Public assistant access is not available yet.
